Through March 3, local artist Howard Paley’s work will be on display at the Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum. The show is “First Impressions”.

“First Impressions” explores the artist’s transformative experiences with nature through an extensive solo exhibition of his photographs. Paley approaches his art form with the mind of a painter, combining unique composition, color and technique to create his compositions.

A reception with Paley will be held this weekend, on Feb. 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Baldwin Gallery in the Baldwin Education Building. The slide show begins at 4 p.m.

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is located at 2021 N. Kinney Road.
