Taking a pie for reading - before
Thornydale Elementary School third-grader Savannah Schultz and fifth-grader Keaton Myers take their turn throwing pies at the school’s assistant principal Brian Faulkner last Friday. Students exceeded their goal of purchasing 600 books by nearly 100 books during the book fair earlier in the school year. Third-grade teacher Sharon Craft won a silent auction, getting her the opportunity to also throw a pie at Faulkner.
