Earlier this month, Oro Valley resdient Dianne Slotten's daughter went to the Arizona American Endurance Ride in Sonoita. The approaching storm produced some dramatic lighting. It was beautiful to see the riders, lit by golden-pink colors of the sunrise before ominous clouds rolled in and the winds kicked up 50mph gusts of dust. The sight was pretty spectacular, considering that for the most part, Arizona has a decided lack of weather.
