Alfonso Gourmet Olive Oil and Balsamics, a store that specializes in fresh olive oil and all natural balsamic vinegars located in St. Philip’s Plaza, is owned by Nancy  and Tom Alfonso.  The Alfonso’s opened their business after ordering gourmet olive oil and balsamic vinegars multiple times from destinations they had visited while traveling.   Their love of the flavors inspired them to give them as gifts which sparked a desire to open a store in Tucson. Tucson has a large number of “foodies” and they saw the potential to share a love of food and an excellent quality product with the Tucson community.

Alfonso wants to bring their customers the freshest olive oils available in the world and in doing so transitions from the northern to the southern hemisphere depending on the latest harvest.   The all natural Balsamic vinegars are from Modena, Italy.  Three bottle sizes are offered; 200ml $10, 375ml $15 and 750ml $28.

Specialty oils including truffle, porcini, nut and seed oils are also available.  Prices for the specialty oils can be found online or at the store.

Being environmentally conscious, customers should return empty bottles and receive credit toward a free 200ml bottle.

There is no substitute for individual experience.  At Alfonso we offer samples to taste of unique fresh, quality olive oils and all natural balsamic vinegars.  Taste first….buy when the excitement becomes overwhelming.
