A 23-year-old was cited for two counts of domestic violence after getting in a fight with his father inside their house on West Glover Road, according to an Oro Valley Police Department repot.
The son allegedly attacked his father after getting in a verbal argument with his mother, who then ordered him to leave the residence.
The son, according to the report, struck his father with his fists to resist movement, and knocked a mirror off the wall on this way out, causing it to shatter on the floor.
The son told the responding officer that he did not want to return home and that he was scared to do so, and that the argument was caused by his mother’s overreaction to a comment he made under his breath, the report said.
He also repeatedly threatened to kill himself when he talked with his father, though he later admitted that was untrue to the officer.
The son was cited for domestic violence, disorderly conduct, domestic violence and criminal damage.
A woman was arrested in Oro Valley after police pulled over the car she was in, discovering four outstanding warrants for shoplifting, resisting arrest, domestic violence and criminal trespass, according to an Oro Valley Police Department report.
The woman also admitted to having powder cocaine or meth on her at the time, and was cited for unlawful possession of paraphernalia, to go with charges for failure to appear/resisting arrest, failing to appear/shoplifting, domestic violence and third-degree criminal trespass.
The car she was in was pulled over for driving 70 miles per hour southbound on North Oracle Road, according to the report.
