When you’re a pet looking for a new home, those love connections just can’t come fast enough.
And the online dating scene? You know how that can be.
So Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) is trying something new on Feb. 15, in honor of Valentine’s Day weekend.
PACC will host a pet speed dating event, where prospective owners will spend a few minutes with a sampling of our most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes.
Prospective pet owners will have a chance to spend five minutes with each pet that meets certain basic criteria, and can then go on a “master date” with their favorite pick by walking around the park and getting to know one another a little better.
Pet speed dating kicks off Saturday, Feb. 15 at noon until 3 p.m.
Pet adoption fees will be waived all weekend.
Even though the adoption center is typically closed for Presidents’ Day, Feb. 17, PACC will be open for pet adoptions from noon until 3 p.m.
