TPD looks for help identifying suspects


The Tucson Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an Aggravated Assault. On Oct. 25, at approximately 10:45 p.m., a suspect entered the Circle K located at 5680 South Campbell Avenue. The suspect then took items displayed for sale and left the store without paying. Security guards confronted the suspect outside and a physical altercation ensued. An unknown female was outside sitting in a vehicle. The female pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot the security guards if they did not let the male suspect go. The female then pointed the gun at the security guard and pulled the trigger twice, however the gun did not fire. The male suspect then got into the vehicle with the female and another male subject and left the scene.

The pictured suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years of age, 6’0” to 6’2” tall and 210 to 230 pounds. The female suspect was described as Hispanic and approximately 20 to 30 years of age. The vehicle was described as a silver colored mini-van. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
