Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment is the place to be for weeknights and weekends this January, with an exciting lineup of the finest local talent at both the Monsoon Nightclub and the Sports Bar. All shows at both locations are for ages 21 and up.
At the Monsoon Nightclub, Friday nights in January mean Boots & Beers, with free shows every week by Tucson’s finest Country bands. The Greg Spivey Band kicks things off on Jan. 3, followed by the Jack Bishop Band on Jan. 10, the Tony Corrales Band on Jan. 17 and Jan. 31, and the Southern Reins Band on Jan. 24. All shows are for ages 21 and up and there’s never a cover charge.
Saturdays at the Monsoon Nightclub continue to be Noches Caliente, featuring the best Tejano and Tex Mex music in Southern Arizona each weekend. Los Gallegos will take the stage on Jan. 4, followed by Angel Norteño on Jan. 11, Grupo Latido on Jan. 18, and La Gran Ciudad on Jan. 25. Cover is $5 for guys, ladies get in free.
The Sports Bar is shaking things up with two exciting new weekly shows in January. Every Tuesday in January, Tucson’s own Tom Patrick Band brings their big band swing to the Sports Bar. Formed in 1993, The Tom Patrick Band has been a familiar group on the Tucson scene ever since. They play Swing, Waltzes and all styles of Latin dance music. Tom’s vocal stylings form a central part of the band’s performance program.
Then on Thursdays, rock out to Classic Oldies with Bednarek’s Music Works. Popular radio personality Jim Bednarek brings more than 20 years of experience in radio, nightclub, and event emceeing. Jim knows how to keep the energy lively and the party rolling.
The Sports Bar also continues to feature favorites like Wednesday Karaoke Nights and Party Mix Nights with Fiesta DJs every Friday and Desert DJs every Saturday.
