Randy Metcalf/The Explorer, Robin Soliz, a 17-year-old who will be a senior at Tucson High Magnet School, trims away fresh leaves of basil with Claudia Burrola, 16, at the community farm in Marana. For eight weeks, six high school students are spending their Saturday mornings on the farm as apprentices, learning what goes into growing and caring for crops.
