Young artists win praise
J.D. Fitzgerald/Special to The Explorer, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords honored 52 students from 12 high schools who won prizes in the 25th annual Congressional Art Competition, Saturday at Tohono Chul Park. More than 300 students entered their artwork into the competition in hopes to have their work displayed for a year at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
