The work of artists Barry Sapp and Susan Evans is being displayed at Jane Hamilton Fine Art through Thursday, March 4.

Sapp, a Tucson artist who paints historical western watercolors, and Evans, a self-taught Southwestern artist who paints bold still lifes, open their "Western Round Up" this Friday, Feb. 19. A reception for the artists is being held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the gallery, located on the southwest corner of Skyline and Campbell. It is free.

Sapp's watercolors are "mystical figurative paintings and they seem to transport you to a dreamy, far away place in time," a release said. Evans' "vibrant colors and dynamic compositions … are unexpected and enchanting."

For more information, call 529-4886. Regular gallery hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sundays 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The address is 2890 E. Skyline Drive, Suite 180. The Web site is http://janehamiltonfineart.com">janehamiltonfineart.com.
