Two days of family-friendly fun are planned Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7, when the Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance presents its third annual cultural fair at the Northwest Campus of Pima Community College.

The even features four main program areas, including children's hands-on arts activities and Southern Arizona's largest inflatable playland. There are various historical and educational displays, the presence of area non-profit organizations, cultural food sales by local and international food vendors, and exhibits by more than 100 artists from around the world, featuring paintings, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics and photographs.

Each program area "should reflect the rich cultural heritage of Southern Arizona and its surrounding regions," a release said.

The festival also features performances by local artists on both Saturday and Sunday on the main stage.

Admission is free of charge. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 6 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 7 at the Northwest Campus, 7600 N. Shannon Road.
