Single tickets to the Tucson Symphony Orchestra's 2009-'10 season — its 81st —go on sale to the general public this Monday, Aug. 24.

Tickets to all nine Classic concerts, five TSO Pops! concerts, four MasterWorks Chamber Orchestra concerts, Yo-Yo Ma, Art Garfunkel, Video Games Live and Handel's Messiah are available online at http://www.tucsonsymphony.org">www.tucsonsymphony.org, at the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Box Office located at 2175 N. Sixth Avenue, or by phone at (520) 882-8585.

TSO box office hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patrons may also buy individual tickets to the Green Valley and Tucson Symphony Center performances and four Moveable Musical Feasts.

The TSO has announced its "Create Your Own Series" subscriptions, with packages of four concerts for $68 per subscription or $17 per ticket. Those tickets are also on sale.

Subscriptions for all Classic, TSO Pops! and MasterWorks Chamber Orchestra concerts remain available, with savings of up to 30 percent off single ticket prices. Subscribers receive 20 percent off single ticket prices when they purchase single tickets in addition to their subscription.

The TSO opens the season Thursday and Friday, Oct. 1-2, with the first of the nine programs in the Classic Series.

Single ticket prices for the 2009-10 season are Classics, $20 to $70; TSO Pops!, $22-$60; MasterWorks Chamber Orchestra, $30-$40; Recitals, $20-$25. Concert specials range from $20 to $80. Yo-Yo Ma is sold out.

The Moveable Musical Feast includes concerts at the Pima Air & Space Museum on Oct. 24;  the Tucson Museum of Art on Feb. 13, and the Tubac Golf Resort and Spa on April 18. Those tickets are $110 each. New Year's Eve at the Arizona Inn is priced at $195 per person. Tickets for all four Moveable Musical Feasts may be purchased for $475, a 10 percent savings.
