All tickets to the Tucson Symphony Orchestra’s 83rd season will go on sale to the general public this Monday.

Tickets to all seven Classic Series programs, four TSO Pops! Series programs, four MasterWorks Chamber Orchestra programs, Midori, Doc Severinsen, Live and Let Die: A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of Paul McCartney and Handel’s Messiah are available online at, at the Tucson Symphony Orchestra box office located at 2175 N. Sixth Ave., or by phone at 882-8585.

TSO box office hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The TSO will open the 2011-12 season on Oct. 14 and Oct. 16 at the Tucson Music Hall with the first of the seven programs in the Classic Series. Italian star Fabio Bidini returns to the TSO for the first time since 2007 to open the season with Rachmaninoff’s melodic and much-loved Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.

The program concludes with the mesmerizing Berlioz Symphonie fantastique.

Single ticket prices for the upcoming season are: $75-$22 for the Classics; $65-$22 for the TSO Pops!; and $40-$50 for the MasterWorks Chamber Orchestra.  

For concert specials, the ticket prices are $75-$30 for Doc Severinsen; $75-$30 for Live and Let Die: A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of Paul McCartney; and  $80-$35 for Midori. 

The TSO is also offering Create Your Own Series subscriptions: four concerts from the Classic Series and/or TSO Pops! for $75 per subscription, or $19 per ticket. The popular Flex Pass 6 is also available for as little as $119, or $20 per ticket.

Subscriptions for all Classic, TSO Pops! and MasterWorks Chamber Orchestra performances are still available. Save up to 25 percent off single ticket prices by purchasing a subscription and guarantee your reserved seat. Subscribers receive 20 percent off single ticket prices when they purchase single tickets in addition to their subscription (does not include specials). Student subscriptions are also available with valid student ID.
