Here is a holiday recipe I do for children’s cookie lesson parties. Don’t let them fool you; adults love them just as much!!

Peanut Butter-Hershey Kiss Cookies

1 cup butter

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup packed brown sugar

2 large eggs

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Hershey Kisses (experiment with different flavored ones)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients, then add remaining dry ingredients. Roll into even-sized small balls. Place on parchment paper sheet pan. Bake roughly 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Take out of oven and carefully push unwrapped Hershey Kiss into the middle of each cookie.

Make sure you leave a note that there is peanut butter in the cookies in case Santa is allergic.
