Illusion meets legend when Michael Howell performs Stunts & Illusions – A Tribute to Harry Houdini on April 15 at 7 p.m. at the Berger Performing Arts Center, 1200 W. Speedway Blvd.

The performance is presented by the Arizona Rose Theatre Company.

Howell’s magic show is filled with death-defying stunts, including his own version of Harry Houdini’s famous water torture cell. He also will present a new animal magic act in addition to several other audience favorites.

Opening the show for Howell is Tucson recording artist Erin Jean. Magic props and replicas will be displayed in the lobby prior to the show. In addition, a petting zoo will be presented by D-S Rescue from 5:30 p.m. until performance time. All proceeds from the petting zoo will benefit the rescue organization.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children 10 and under. Payment will be accepted in cash or checks only.

Tickets are available now at the Mildred & Dildred Toy Store, 2905 E. Skyline Drive, No. 186, in the La Encantada Shopping Center. A $1 discount is offered per ticket with a donation of food.
