The Marana Heritage Farm Stand's "Cooking with Café 54" this Monday, Feb. 15, offers fresh fruits and vegetables, and recipes to encourage people to cook and eat winter's abundant greens, such as kale, chard and spinach.

Chefs from Café' 54, a Tucson non-profit restaurant that trains individuals recovering from mental illness, offer a cooking demonstration of winter green recipes from 3 to 4:30 Monday at the Marana Heritage Farm, 12375 N. Heritage Park Drive.

Local produce selections Monday at the farm stand include citrus, salad and cooking greens, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, radishes, cabbage, potatoes, green onions, apples, fresh eggs and more. The farm stand accepts credit and debit cards, SNAP (food stamps), cash, and Women, Infants and Children cash value vouchers for fruits and vegetables.

The Marana Heritage Farm is a partnership between the Community Food Bank, the Town of Marana Parks and Recreation Department and many community members.  Produce grown at the Marana Heritage Farm is sold at the Marana Farm Stand, the Community Food Bank Farmers' Market, and the Santa Cruz River Farmers' Market.
