Don Boorse/Special to the Explorer, Pam Halbert, Donna Bishop and Darlene St. Clair stand near the entrance of the Northwest Medical Center, where they dropped off several hundred blankets, beanies and booties last week, all handmade by Holy Needles. The knitted articles are donated to less-fortunate families with a newborn child.
