Entertainers can earn $50 for a two-hour solo performance, demonstration or activity while receiving exposure to the mall’s thousands of visitors per week.

Entertainers are sought in the following studies: jugglers, live plein air painters, face painters, mariachi performers, magicians, balloon twisters, steel drum performers, mimes, acoustic jazz quartets, choirs, costumed characters, such as superheroes and princesses; puppeteers, violin players, barbershop quartets and harpists.

In addition, SAACA is looking for entertainers for live strolling music performances, demonstrations, wine tastings and other events on Wednesdays and Fridays at the St. Philip’s Plaza at Campbell and River roads.

‘Premiere!’ to be seen at The Invisible Theatre

Tucson’s The Invisible Theatre will present "Premiere!,” a comedy by Tony Award-winning playwright Dale Wasserman, May 3-22. Shows will take place at The Invisible Theatre, 1400 N. First Ave., at Drachman.

Tickets for the May 3 preview cost $18. Tickets for all other performances are $25. Group discounts are available.

The comedy closes the theater group’s 40th anniversary season. It tells the tale of a famous comedic playwright who decides to prove to the world that he can write more than fluff, and he sets out to write a play that would be universally accepted as the discovery of a “new” play by Shakespeare.

“Premiere!” is directed by James Blair and stars Nick Cianciotto, Chadwick Collins, Roberto Guajardo, Victoria McGee, Robert Anthony Peters and Dallas Thomas.
