A greater Tucson orthodontia business has expanded into Oro Valley, with grand opening events planned for July 15-17.

James A. Weaver, DDS, president of Dr. JAW Orthodontists, has opened a location at the northeast corner of Lambert and La Cañada in Oro Valley.

Dr. JAW Orthodontists have been in practice since 1986. The practice provides complete orthodontic treatment to both adolescents and adults, including metal and invisible braces, TMJ and sleep apnea therapy, and the newest lingual (behind the teeth) braces. It is the lone Elite Invisalign provider in Tucson.

A grand opening event with giveaways, free refreshments, free exams and free mouth sports guards for all middle school and high school student athletes is being held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 15; from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 16; and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17.

A parent must be with the student to receive a free mouth guard, and the student must have student identification, a release said.
