Nominees have been finalized for the Marana Chamber of Commerce’s Community and Business Builder of the Year awards.

Winners are recognized during a reception and luncheon on Thursday, March 19, at Tower Theatres in Marana.

Prepaid reservations are requested. Tickets are $15. The program starts with registration and a reception at 11:15 a.m., with awards from noon to 1 p.m.

Nominees are:

Sole proprietor: e-Media Services, Farm Bureau Financial Services - Courtney Baker, Up & Running Computer Services.

For 2-10 employees: Creative Catering Corporation, Desert Spring Equestrian Center, Keva Juice, M&I Bank, Marana Weekly News, Rillito Post Office, State Farm Insurance - Gary Nicholl, Tompkins Family Chiropractic, Tucson Turf.

For 11-50 employees: Awakening Massage, Breakers Water Park, Hooters of Marana, OfficeMax.

For 51 or more employees: Comcast, Hunter Contracting Co., Northwest Medical Center, Texas Roadhouse, Walmart in the Arizona Pavilions, and Waste Management.

Non-profit nominees: Humane Society of Southern Arizona, Marana Community Food Bank, Marana Foundation, Foothills Optimist Club, and Pima Community College, Northwest Campus.

Joining Tower Theatres as event sponsors are the Marana Community Correctional Treatment Facility and Trico Electric Cooperative Inc.

Lunch will be provided by Boston’s the Gourmet Pizza, Copper Creek Cookies, Creative Catering Corporation, Keva Juice, Native New Yorker and Texas Roadhouse.
