Oro Valley Mayor Satish Hiremath presents his second State of the Town address on Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort in Oro Valley.
Tickets are available to the public through the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce. They are priced at $50 per person, or $500 for a table of 10.
Special packages are available by emailing chamber president/CEO Dave Perry at firstname.lastname@example.org or events director Alex Demeroutis at email@example.com, or by calling the office at 297-2191.
The chamber has invited two new CEOs in the community to speak at the event. Jae Dale is the new CEO at Oro Valley Hospital; Mara Aspinall is the new CEO at Ventana Medical Systems.
A special nonprofit fair is being held outside the event starting at 11 a.m. Oct. 6.
Community service nonprofits have tables in the lobby to interact with guests.
“We wanted to give our community organizations a chance to tell their stories to a crowd of community leaders and citizens,” chamber president Dave Perry said.
Tables are available at no charge on a first-come, first-served basis. “All we ask is that they buy a ticket to the event,” Perry said.
Hiremath is in his first four-year term as mayor of Oro Valley.
The longtime resident and practicing dentist was elected to the office in 2010.
Doors open to the ballroom at 11:45 a.m.
