Ritz completes management team

Ritz-Carlton veterans Claudia Campos, David Columbus, Bill Winston and Kevin Kruse have joined the leadership team of The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, which opens in late fall.

The four hospitality professionals are going to guide, train and instill the Ritz-Carlton service culture into the 300 people who will join the current staff of 125 employees, a release said.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will be the 75th property for the company.

"We knew going into this project that we were going to need the best that The Ritz-Carlton had to offer to guide our ladies and gentlemen," said Michael R. McMahon, general manager. "When you look at the commitment to excellence in each of their respective fields, you soon realize that this veteran leadership team (the four new members and three existing managers), with more than 100 years of combined Ritz-Carlton experience, will set a new standard of excellence. These leaders exemplify The Ritz-Carlton standard that we are instilling in every area."

Campos is the director of human resources. She has worked at four different Ritz-Carlton properties in California and Arizona, most recently as director of human resources from The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay. Campos is fluent in English and Spanish.

Columbus, director of finance, has more than 11 years experience at six properties for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Most recently, Columbus was director of finance for The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix.

Winston, director of facilities, has enjoyed a 17-year tenure with the company. He has multiple certifications from the Building Owners Management Institute, and is a certified energy manager from the Association of Energy Engineers. Winston also come from The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix.

Kruse, executive assistant manager of rooms, has 25 years of Ritz-Carlton international luxury hotel experience, combining security and safety within the luxury hotel guest experience. His most recent role was as vice president, global security for The Ritz-Carlton Corporate Office. Kruse has opened 71 Ritz-Carltons worldwide.

McMahon is supported by Stephen Deucker, director of sales and marketing, and Shaun Beucler, director of food and beverage, who have been on site for over a year.
