Pointing to “unprecedented times” with a new president, a new Arizona governor and the “significant impacts from the recession,” Tucson Regional Economic Opportunities is seeking views on public policy and economic development to share with new state leadership.

Joe Snell, TREO president and chief executive officer, is inviting opinions via a survey at">

“Are you more concerned than ever about getting the economy moving again, education funding or transportation infrastructure with these changing conditions?” Snell asks. “Now is the time to voice your opinions about public policy impacts on economic development.”

The survey asks questions about funding priorities, transportation infrastructure, education funding and economic development tools. It also has blank space for respondent opinions.

TREO wants to ensure “we have a business-friendly and competitive environment,” Snell said. “Only five minutes of your time ensures that Southern Arizona opinions are heard.”

Responses are being shared with legislators as “economic development priorities that will strengthen and diversify Southern Arizona’s economy.”

There is a Dec. 11 deadline.
