Vero Amore has opened its second greater Tucson restaurant in Dove Mountain.

Vero Amore, the only certified authentic Neapolitan pizza restaurant in Arizona, started at Swan and Camp Lowell. Its success prompted owners Aric and Josh Mussman to open a second bistro, located in the Dove Mountain Plaza at Tangerine and Dove Mountain Boulevard.

The new restaurant has a full bar, patio dining and a bigger kitchen for noted Tucson pasta chef Scott Brayer, past owner and founder of Pasta Palmita. He has expanded the menu with new entrees and appetizers, in addition to Vero Amore’s wood-fired pizzas, calzones and paninis.

Expansion of the catering business comes with the second location, a release said.
