Big Savings Made Simple as New Store Opens for Business

The keys to big savings await area shoppers as Big Lots, the nation’s largest broadline closeout retailer, celebrates the grand opening of their newest store in the Oro Valley Marketplace at 11955 North Oracle Road, Oro Valley.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Big Lots will make a $2,500 donation to Painted Sky Elementary School during its ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12.

Big Lots stores nationwide help shoppers stretch their budgets by stocking stores with merchandise that typically sells for 20 to 40 percent less than discount stores and up to 70 percent below traditional retailers. At 20,900, customers will find thousands of products available from everyday consumables, seasonal goods, home decor, electronics, toys, and one-time closeouts other stores just can't match. Big Lots also offers great values on a full assortment of brand-name furniture and Serta mattresses.

“For more than forty years, Big Lots customers have relied on us to bring them a one-of-a-kind shopping experience filled with brand-name merchandise at a price they can appreciate. We are thrilled to now be able to offer that same great value and convenience to Oro Valley shoppers,” said Rob Claxton, senior vice president of marketing for Big Lots. “We are confident this new store will prove to be a big hit with smart shoppers who are seeking better deals and bigger savings to combat the increasing costs of everyday living.”
