The Oro Valley Business Club plans to showcase about 150 local vendors to more than 5,000 people at its inaugural Oro Valley Business Fair and Expo Oct. 29 at the Steam Pump Village, 11000 N. Oracle Road.

Event organizer Hank Jepsen is now accepting registrations from area businesses. Jepsen hopes participation in this event will exceed that of a business expo conducted in 2007. Held at the Oro Valley Public Library, that event showcased 50 businesses and attracted about 2,700 people.

The cost of a 10-foot by 10-foot exhibit booth is $175 for OVBC members and $275 for non-members for registration before Sept. 1. After Sept. 1, the price will increase to $200 for members and $300 for non-members.

The price includes a 3-1/2-inch by 3-inch advertisement in the event program.
