Dylewski opens Jones office at First, Tangerine

Financial adviser Joe Dylewski has opened an office for Edward Jones at First Avenue and Tangerine Road in Oro Valley.

The address is 11941 N. 1st Ave., Suite 171.

Dylewski, who previously worked in Ken Blanchard's Edward Jones office at La Canada and Lambert, is joined by office administrator Barbara Jensen.

Edward Jones provides financial services for individual investors.

Ribbon cut at Marana Jones office Sept. 3

Karl Haas, a Marana-based financial adviser for the financial services firm Edward Jones, is conducting an open house and ribbon-cutting event from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at 8750 N. Silverbell Rd. No.184, the Fry's Plaza at the corner of Silverbell and Cortaro.

"We are happy to be part of the Marana community and would like to express our appreciation for the confidence and support we receive year-round," Haas said.

Northern Pima board seats 4 new members

New members of the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce board are Andy Keating, Ron Janicki, Kathleen Stupp and Keri Ruffell.

Janicki is with Truly Nolen of America, Inc. Keating's firm is Andy Keating, CPA Ruffell operates 123 Fit. Stupp runs The Golf Villas at Oro Valley.

The chamber's executive committee consists of new chairman Tom Thaller, chairman-elect J.R. Johnson, Keating as treasurer, Lynn Ericksen as secretary and Gregg Forszt as the outgoing chairman.

Olympian in OV to put on running clinic

An Olympic marathoner is coming to Oro Valley this Thursday, Sept. 3, to put on a free running clinic.

Jeff Galloway, founder of the Jeff Galloway Training Programs, meets with runners from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at All About Running and Walking, 12162 N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd.

The event is intended to aid local runners training for P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon & Half Marathon in Phoenix on Jan. 17. It is also the kick-off for training ahead of the third annual National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer, directed by Galloway and scheduled for Feb. 21 in Jacksonville, Fla.

Galloway, who has run more than 130 marathons, wrote the best-selling running book Galloway's Book on Running and writes a monthly column in Runner's World magazine.

"Jeff's specialty is maximizing the enjoyment and satisfaction of running, while minimizing the time spent, the injuries, and the fatigue," a release said. "He keeps innovating and articulating techniques which help average people enjoy running more, run faster, and reduce injuries."
