Airline adding flight to, from San Francisco

United Airlines is adding a second, daily non-stop flight between Tucson and San Francisco on Sunday, Oct. 25.

The flight is scheduled through mid-December, and is the lone non-stop service available between the two cities, according to a release from the Tucson Airport Authority.

With the addition, flights are leaving Tucson at 6 a.m. and 4:22 p.m. daily, with arrivals from San Francisco expected at 4:21 and 9:25 p.m. daily.

United is also replacing one of its regional aircraft with a larger jet, the A320, for one of its four daily flights to Denver from late October through March. The airline also offers daily non-stop service to Los Angeles.
