Salon Blonde

12120 N. Dove Mountain Blvd., #162

With a commitment to keeping true to the Aveda concept of beauty, wellness and care, Salon Blonde, has served the Dove Mountain community well this past year as it was voted as one of the Best of the Northwest.

Salon Blonde opened in January 2012 by owner Pammelyn McCarthy who is a hairstylist and educator from San Francisco. Most of her life, McCarthy has dreamed of wanting to open up her own salon and when the opportunity came she did not hesitate to take it.  Dove Mountain appealed to her because of the continual growth in the area and sense of community.

Upon walking in it is noticed how spacious the Salon Blonde’s layout is.  Walls work as small dividers among the different areas, the softly lit lighting provides a relaxing effect and the minimal amount of pictures or decorations on the walls gives a simplistic look.  Soon to be added to the salon is a glass case filled with a variety of cosmetology products that clients will be able to purchase.
