Catherine Reynolds - Week 4
With this week comes newfound inspiration. I was beginning to wonder if all my energy and effort were paying off as I was not seeing a difference in the mirror or in the tightness of my pants. But, as my weigh-in /measure-in day came and went, I am now ready to kick it up a notch and prove that I can do this.
I find my progress so far to be unbelievable. In just four weeks, I have lost 7 lbs of fat and gained 3 lbs of muscle, for a net loss of 4lbs. Also, my body fat percentage dropped by 2.6%!! And, overall, I have lost about 5 inches!
These changes have renewed my energy and determination to make this happen. Steve, my trainer, changed my workout and definitely made it hard again! I am now running(!) on the treadmill and have noticed my endurance has gone up significantly. I can feel more tone in my arms and love that slightly tight feeling in my legs the day after a workout. I could get used to this!
All I can say is that I am truly enjoying this challenge and lifestyle I am beginning to adopt. My children have even recognized the change in me and ask if I am going to go exercise everytime I drop them off at preschool. I just decided to sign up for a 5K Mud Run with some girlfriends on March 24 and I can't wait for my daughters to see me cross the finish line!
Important thing I learned this week: I CAN DO THIS!!
