Catherine Reynolds – Week 37

Milestone! When we first started this challenge about 8 months ago, I was comfortable wearing a size 16 in jeans. Just this week, I was in need of a new pair and grabbed a 10 off the rack. But, when I put them on, they were too big! Size 8, here I come!

I feel like I am at the point where my weight loss can really start to be noticeable. I’m starting to uncover body parts I had forgotten existed (hello collarbones!)It is such a good feeling when people you haven’t seen for a while stare at you with that perplexed look in their eye. They know you are still the same person, but you’re not. It’s hard to put a finger on it but then, magically, they come to realize the big change you’ve made. They are nothing but ecstatic for you.

Losing weight and getting in shape is hard. But, it is doable. And it feels so FANTASTIC you might just forget about the hard work!

Thing I learned this week: I’m getting there!
