Canyon Del Oro High School's annual "Pink Dorados" is promoting their breast cancer awareness night at CDO High School on Jan.31.

The purpose of the "Pink Dorado's" is to raise money and gain participants for this years Southern Arizona Race For The Cure event which will be held on Sunday Mar. 30 at the University of Arizona Campus.

The night is highlighted at the girls basketball game versus Catalina Foothills High School with the freshman game starting at 4 p.m., Junior Varsity at 5:30 p.m., and the Varsity game at 7 p.m.

There also will be a special half time performance by the CDO Spirit Clinic K-8 Cheer Clinic.

Now in their 4th year, the Pink Dorados is a group of primarily CDO Students and their friends and families who join together to participate as a Team in the Annual So. AZ Susan G. They typically recruit over 150 Team Members and raise over $3500.00 annually.

The CDO Basketball Teams will wear pink accessories as part of their uniforms and fans are encouraged to wear pink. The Cheer Clinic Participants will perform a special routine at halftime of the Varsity Game that you won’t want to miss.
