Brew challenge

Grab your favorite stein, dust off your dirndl and lederhosen and get your taste buds ready, because Baja Oktoberfest is coming to Tucson. The Arizona Craft Brewer’s Guild wants to bring the German excitement to Tucson, but with an Arizona craft beer twist.

Everyone knows in Arizona, we like to do things our own way. So, instead of traditional German brews, Baja Oktoberfest will feature all Tucson breweries and craft breweries across the state. The Arizona Craft Breweries guild has invited all Arizona breweries to participate and selected a few out of state breweries to join the fun. This is the largest celebration of Arizona craft beer event in Tucson.

Not only will there be an abundance of brews flowing at each brewery’s booth, Baja Oktoberfest is will also feature signature German and American dishes from local food trucks, fun games like a brat eating contest, Car Pull, walking Polka Band and a DJ to get people up and dancing.  This event is set to be the premier event for craft beer in southern Arizona with a huge emphasis on local craft beer and culture.

When: October 18th from 5:00 – 10:00pm (4:00pm entry for VIP)

Where: Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium (2500 E. Ajo Way, Tucson, AZ 85713)

This is the largest celebration of Arizona craft beer event in Tucson

It has been their mission for 15 years that no child grieves alone. There is no other agency that provides on-going support to children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or other loved one. There is no other agency that stays with an ill child and their family from time of diagnosis, through all of the changes in prognosis, and if that child’s medical condition results in a death, throughout the grieving process.
