Bruce R. Zeiter

Born: March 7, 1949

Died: March 26, 2013

Married to Gaya Zeiter; Daughter Kira Zeiter

Bruce graduated from Yorkville High School, Yorkville, Illinois in 1967, from Illinois State University in 1971 and received his M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 1974.

Bruce began his 20-year banking career at Yorkville National Bank and Naperville National Bank in Illinois; then United Bank and CitiBank in Tucson.  Bruce and Gaya have co-owned Premier Printing & Mailing since 1992. Bruce had retired last year to enjoy what he loved most; golfing and fishing at his cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Bruce was a member of Sertoma, Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, Metro Tucson Chamber, Business Clubs America, and supported many other organizations around the community.

Bruce was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and loved fast-pitch softball where he spent many hours at his daughter’s games when she played and now is a coach at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO.

Bruce was tragically killed in a one car accident south of Flagstaff.  He was a bigger than life guy and has been taken from us much too soon.  We will miss his dry sense of humor and his wit.  He was truly one of a kind.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to – Tucson Conquistadors Foundation (Youth Athletics), 6450 E. Broadway Blvd., Tucson, AZ  85710 – In Memory of Bruce Zeiter.
