In partnership with many LGBTQ organizations and supporters from across the County, Pima Animal Care Center invites the entire community to the first ever PACC Pride Adoption Celebration, Saturday August 16th from 5:00pm to 10:00pm!

The event will feature a special drag and pet show at 8:00pm organized with help from Tucson’s very own IBT’s Bar, food trucks, prizes, vendors (some offering special deals), music, and entertainment! Our furry friends won’t be in drag but will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and ready to go home with their forever family. Plus, every adopting family will receive free pet care goodies and a very stylish PACC Pride bandana for their new friend! Free adoptions and PACC Pride bandanas will be offered all weekend long, so even if you can’t make it on Saturday evening you can still take advantage of the specially priced adoptions!

PACC Pride has been organized to highlight and celebrate the overwhelming support the shelter receives from every community in Pima County, especially as PACC nears the end of their competition with 50 of the other top animal shelters in the nation in the Rachel Ray 100K Challenge! The 3 month challenge to save 100,000 lives ends August 31st and PACC is eager to finish strong!

As the county’s largest adoption agency, Pima Animal Care Center has the widest selection of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens waiting to go home with you. PACC is also our community’s only open-admission shelter, which means it is the only shelter that never turns away a pet in need.
